Popular singer Kanika Kapoor, who returned back from London on March 09, has been tested positive for Coronavirus. The ‘Baby Doll’ fame singer became the first Bollywood celebrity to get infected with COVID-19. Kanika made headlines after she confirmed that she was tested positive for Coronavirus in her Instagram post.

Several users on Twitter called out the singer for being ‘irresponsible’ for attending high-profile parties and events. She reportedly hid her travel history from the authorities and even hosted a party for her close friends and family members in Lucknow.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who is quite active on social media, shared a post where he talked about Kanika Kapoor and Rana Kapoor. Rana Kapoor, the founder of Yes Bank, was recently arrested for money laundering.

Aaj kal kuch “Kapoor”logon pe time bhaari hai. Darta hoon. Hey Malik raksha karna doosre “Kapoor-on”ki! Koi galat kaam na ho kabhi. Jai Mata Di!,” Rishi wrote while sharing pictures of Kanika Kapoor and Rana Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor further tweeted, “Think. Chalo Delhi airport se to nikal gayi. Why an establishment like The Taj Lucknow Hotel didn’t have the facility to screen visitors? After all the Taj is a huge name and a property. Surely they could have detected!”

Including Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar,Ashoke Pandit, Sona Mohapatra and others came down heavily on the ‘Baby Doll’ singer for putting others’ lives at risk by not going for self quarantine despite travelling back from overseas amid coronavirus.
